Faro dei Monaci
It is located in the Southern Cape of the island of Monaci with a high lighthouse that marks this part of the island. This dive can be done in both directions, depending on the current and waves; the most frequent ones move to the southeast, with the wall to the left. The dive begins from a sheltered bay; after swimming among many rock species populated by morays and groupers, we reach the deepest area at a depth of 25-30 meters to admire some red gorgonians. The western side of the island of Monaci is bordered by a vertical granite wall that rises on a sandy bottom about 20 metres deep. Here, it is possible to observe the schools of salpa and diplodus swimming near the coast and take beautiful pictures of the seascape.
